Dr. Winter has trained with some of the world's most prominent dental sedation specialists. He is one of the select few who has earned a Fellowship in the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is rapidly becoming well known as the Albany area's leading dentist for those patients who want to snooze through their dental visits.

Dr. Winter also has trained with and is part of the teaching staff of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, where he trains dentists and other health providers in the use of Botox & dermal fillers (e.g. Juvederm & Restylane) and how to incorporate their usage as part of his philosophy regarding total facial esthetics.

Dr. Winter has volunteered in the Give Back a Smile program of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, helping to repair damaged smiles & dentitions of victims of domestic violence.
